I pretty much have nothing tonight. It has just been a crazy, busy week. I have sort of, kinda, kept up with everyone else this week.
I will be reviewing a book on Wednesday of this week. Barrie thanks so much for inviting me!!
I have been thinking of something lately. I want to know how everyone came up with their names for their blog. I'll start. I was called Wunderwoman almost all the way through school. I HATED being called that. It wasn't a fond nickname. No, the ones that called me that were taunting me. So when it came time for me to name my blog, well I picked that name and it's almost like I'm showing them now. Does that make sense? I haven't ever attended any high school reunions, because of those people. I like to think I am over all that, and I am a better person for now turning it around into a good thing. Kids can be so cruel can't they? So how did you get your name?

Garage
I've never had my very own garage to park in, Bigblock has had a garage that he keeps his precious car in(more on that later), but mine has always sat outside. Until this week. It has been very cold here. So, I have been parking my car in Bigblocks garage. He said he told me years ago I could, but I don't remember. Plus I've had issues with my car lately. Last spring the head gasket blew. Then in the fall the heater core broke, leaving me stranded for around 3 hours waiting for Bigblock to come save me. Today when I turn the key it sounds like it's ready to shoot for outer space. Seriously, it went vrrrrrmmmmmm. I had to navigate through the big city praying the brakes would keep me from running over anything or getting a ticket. Oh, and last but not least, one of my tires has been leaking too. Off tomorrow to buy another tire, darn there goes more money.
So today when I get home I think Okay, you didn't like being babied and getting to stay in the warm garage, I'll leave you sit in the snow, you b*tch. Really I wanted to kick it, but with my luck I figured I would just break something. Now keep in mind I love my car, but I've just about. Had. Enough!! My car is ten years old, but it's the first car I've really loved. But, when I have to be extra careful not to run over the semis, that drive like a bat out of h*ll, that's when I start to get just a little testy.
Not to worry though, Bigblock came home and put the wench in the garage again. Oh, and I've had the flu or something this week. So how is your week going?

Hey!! You, yeah You, come back here.......
Hey!! You, yeah, YOU, come back here I want to talk to you. Have you noticed that little map down in the right hand bottom of my page? Well, let me tell you, people from Australia and the Philippines have visited my blog! Only thing is, they don't leave a comment, they just lurk and leave. People talk to me!! I know that most everyone that blogs has a better looking map than I do, but that's okay I'm still a young blogger (notice I said blogger, not woman).
Anyways, what I'm getting at is, I am bored out of my mind. Yes, I've got things to do but, I really don't want to read anymore medical books eck, gag, spew... I visit my favorite blogs such as Chef E who posted about a friend losing a child (so so sad), to Suzanne who is visiting her family, to John Deere Mom dealing with sick children, on to MidlifeMama telling about her Dad and his Caddy. And I don't know why I am having trouble linking tonight arrrgh......FINALLY, it worked.. Okay, one more and them I'm moving on, you need to go see Debra she's fast becoming a favorite..... Can anyone say cabin fever?
Lastly, I just want to say, if you land here please leave a note and tell me what you're up to. I would love to hear from you. Tell me about a good movie to go see, a good book to read, what's going on where you're at, anything but playing in the snow!! I'd love to hear about your favorite piece of make-up, your favorite recipe I should try anything, just talk to me;)

Woot! Woot! Woot!
I've been given my first blog award from Debra!! This absolutely made my day. I started this blog not to become famous or rich (though I wouldn't complain LOL) but to find friends. I have found some very talented ladies (and yes men too) and am enjoying reading about their lives, interests, and their families! Thanks so much everyone for welcoming me with open arms....it's a pleasure to know you!!
Now I'm supposed to list 10 interesting things about me:
- I am one of NINE children
- My favorite drink is diet coke...not Vodka
- I'm studying to be a nurse
- I've only ever lived in one state
- I too often speak before I think, and I hate this about myself
- I read, don't watch TV
- My favorite color is, are you ready, orange
- My next car will be a sports car, I've got the need for speed hehe
- I like to people watch
- I won't ever marry again, I'll lease!! Just because you want to play a little doesn't mean you have to go and buy........just saying
Get ready, get set, GO

$3.7 Million for Virginity?
First day going back to school and I'm listening to the news, and the guy says some young girl is auctioning off her virginity for 3.7 MILLION dollars? WTH? Good news, she is trying to pay for school. Says she got the idea from her sis that did something on the same line as this. Isn't there some other way? Girl, wouldn't it be easier to get a loan? Or maybe, we're the nimwits for not thinking of this first? She says it will benefit her and the lucky winner, you think? ps this is a true story, even I couldn't think up something this good
Hope you all are having a good start to the week. See you around.

Beautiful but Deadly
This is the scenery we enjoy during the long winter months. I b*ich and moan alot about it, but really do think it's beautiful too(just as much as the beach pics, doncha think?). I just really hate driving in it. My Lil Sis went out and took many, many pictures for me one, because she takes better pics than I do and two because unless I have to, I don't go out.
My birthday was a good day overall. Bigblock and I went to Lil Sis's house and we made Jello Sliders, we mixed them equal amounts water and Vodka, and let me tell you they kicked my arse. I don't think I was meant to be a drunk. I'm gonna try it one more time with a slightly different ratio next time. Hey, I am persistent and can't give up after just once. Although, I didn't feel normal again until today LOL
Now about the deadly part, I have been preoccupied all day thinking about a friend and another guy we know that went through the ice on snowmobiles last night. They didn't make it. He was only 40 years old, and the guy with him only 22. Both leave behind children. The other two snowmobilers riding with them survived but will probably need counseling. Please pray for their families and keep your loved ones off the ice!! Sorry for the in the dumps post, I'll try to get more upbeat next time. Later....

Chef E has a Scatergories game going on and I thought I'd participate so here goes :

I swear he loves to rub it in that I can't take the cold, he called today at lunch to see what the weather is like at home uh duh it's snowing.....again.
I want to burn a cd of music to listen to on the drive back and forth to school, I drive about one hour each way...so I need your help. Please tell me what your favorite songs are..I need some up tempo music. Gotta go I'll check in with you later this week(end)?

What the****??
Tonight Thing 2 is on his facebook or myspace, not sure which one. He had some 42 year old man ask him to engage in a threesome with him and his girlfriend. What the heck?
Test 1-2-3
Teaching myself to post from MSWord 2007. I know, I'm behind the times. I was telling Bigblock that I should have been born later in life, because I love the technology and wish I had grown up with it like my grandchildren are. Seriously, did I just type grandchildren? Holy cow, I'm getting old.
It looks really dreary out today. I don't know about you people, but I get depressed when I don't see the sun for days on end. I'm thinking I really should've been an island girl LOL I enjoy the pics that different blogs have up (twentyfouratheart, Candice cook's gets better every day, and others). It's a whole 21° F here this morning.
Enough whining, I have things to do today. See ya later.
BOOKS
I love books, seriously, I read all the time. I've even been known to have withdrawl symptoms if I haven't read anything recently and will read the back of shampoo bottles and such. So today (or sometime this week) I am going to go through a whole box of books I've had for years. Only thing is, I cannot throw them away. I must give these treasures to someone who I know will appreciate them. It's even difficult for me to throw away magazines I get. I really need some help don't I?
To tell the truth I can't afford my addiction. I use our library as much as possible. Also, that costs me money sometimes, because I don't always remember to take them back on time (oh those dreaded fines). I also have a Sis and SIL that read almost as much as I do so we will occasionally trade books back and forth.
I have found this website called paperbackswap.com that feeds my addiction. Wow, I've added my very first link!! How it works is you list a certain number of books and you recieve credits, that allow you to order books. They also have swap a CD and DVDs too. When you order books, the sender pays postage and it doesn't cost you anything but one of your credits. If someone orders books from you, then you pay postage (generally $2-3) and you earn credits when they mark the book received or if you use the printable postage with tracking then you recieve credits as soon as you mark the book mailed. Awesome site, check it out!!

Cell Phone and What Would YOU do?
I have an amusing story to tell, and I have a disturbing question for you today. Ok, for the amusing first, at my house we have cancelled our landline and went totally to using cell phones. We found it was just tooo expensive to pay for a phone at home that wasn't being used(we were by ourselves at this time). Bigblock has one and I have another. By the way, that 's just a pic I found and not my real phone, but it does look like mine. Yes!!, I have learned how to add pictures;) Thing 2 still lives at home(why do they always say they're moving out when they're old enough and then coming back home?) although, if he wanted to he could live wherever he chose(he is over 18, by the way). I don't mind letting him borrow my phone. But the last few weeks when I need to make a call I have to search for it. He was plugging it in each night and I liked that because I don't pay too much attention and would always let my phone go dead. Anyway, if it's early in the morning, then most likely it's in bed with him because he likes to talk to his friends and girlfriend late into the night and the minutes are free, free, free. Well tonight when I wanted to call my oldest Sis, he had it in the bathroom with him while showering. I know, ewww. Do you have this same issues with your kids? (this is not the disturbing question, please continue reading)!
Now for the disturbing question. What would you do if you saw a woman spanking her child outside your home? For a little background info: my husband (Bigblock) and I were talking to his brother and niece this afternoon and suddenly Bigblock says, "that little guys sure getting it", and then his brother said, "well he's getting it again", and the niece and I look out the window and the woman is in the road spanking the little boy (probably about 4 years old) again. Ok, I admit it, I have a loud mouth and sometimes don't think before going off on someone. Anyways, I went to the door and said to the woman, "don't you think you've whipped him enough?" and she said "what?" so I repeated myself. To which she replied that she was trying to teach him something. And I replied "I'll teach you something, if you spank him again I'll call the law on you". She gathered the little guy, an older child, and her dog and continued down the road. I normally wouldn't say anything but she had whipped him 3 times!! I believe that parents should correct their children, and yes my boys were swatted a few times growing up, but never like this little guy was getting. I pray that I didn't make it worse for the little guy when she got him home, but I couldn't just sit there and watch it!! So my question to you is What would YOU have done? Please don't leave hateful comments I just wonder if I should have handled it differently. And NO, I don't know who the woman was.

Days
For the last few days, I have been thinking about posting. Only thing is I couldn't think of much to say. So I was scared. I've just started this blog, there must be something to blog about, where are the stories you imagined writing in your head, the creative juices can't be gone, can they? So today, I thought, just get on there and write something, anything and the block will be gone.............easier said than done, but here goes...........
We had a great Christmas, however I did miss seeing Thing 1 and family. They received their gifts and were pleased, so everyone's happy there.
Thing 2 has been busy with friends. Bigblock has been keeping busy in his own little toy room (the garage). Got together will Lil Sis and had dinner and drinks, very enjoyable time but she needs to learn when to quit (she visited Ralph again). Spent a day with Grandma, no relation to my family but she took care of Thing 1 and 2 until they went to school full time. Still have cold weather and only ONE week left, then it's back to the grindstone called school ugh.....
So enough about me, how was your holiday? Were you pleased with your presents and what was the thing you got you wanted most? Did you see family and how are they doing? Did anything special happen? Come on people talk to me.
