John Deere and a story

John Deere Mom is having a giveaway on her site, a new little remote control gator. Go ahead and check it out, I'll wait.

Back now, Ok, I was talking to my Lil Sis on the phone(she went through 2 phones, they kept going dead, that hasn't happened in a while) last night and she told me a story about our Big Sis. You know I am one of nine children right? Well I am, there are 4 boys and 5 girls. Growing up it wasn't unusual for Big Sis to get mad at us, and she was lethal with whatever was handy. I can't tell you how many times she would throw a hot cup of coffee or an ashtray at us. The rest of us just knew how Big Sis was, so we just tried to stay on her good side and not make waves. However, we all hated her little tantrums.

So the story goes that Big Sis was riding in the car with her younger daughter, and she was complaining about her driving. This is the funny part, because younger daughter stopped the car and put Big Sis out! Oh my gosh, that has never happened before. Keep in mind that Big Sis has a boyfriend (father to 28 yr old oldest daughter) and he's a real jerk. Keeps stringing Big Sis along. Takes her for what she will give him...I can not figure this out, she can do SO MUCH better. Anyways, after younger daughter puts dear ol' mom out, she calls worthless boyfriend and warns him she put mom out and she will be in a killing mood. Worthless boyfriend waits about 5 minutes and doesn't hear anything from Big Sis (mom) so he goes to find her. Finds her walking home, still complaining. She had been complaining to him earlier how tired she was. So, he says, "well you're alright and you don't seem tired" and he leaves her by the side of the road too. Can you imagine her face, can you? Oh my gosh I am cracking up thinking about it!!

I would love to call her and ask about the walk home, but I don't really think that's a good idea. I love it when people get just what they deserve, don't you?

All I keep thinking is of Big Sis standing by the side of the road watching younger daughter and worthless boyfriend driving away ROFLMAO can you just picture the smoke rolling out of her ears LOL

Disclaimer: we live in a really small town and she was in no danger....probably had oodles of people she knew stopping to ask if she needed a ride LOL

Slick Vodka

I am left wondering what happened this week? Slick Sumbich came back after being gone for a LOOOOOng time, and now Vodka Mom has left us. Was it something we said? something we didn't say? just the gravitational pull of the planets? what happened? By the way, Slick I am soooo glad you're back, we missed you man:)

In other news, it is WARM here, currently 70 degrees. I am in heaven! I have TWO, count 'em TWO weeks of school left. That breaks down to one more weekly test and two finals ugh.

Oh and Kelly is taking a break too. I ask you again, what is happening? I guess all that is left is to pray that our friends stick around for awhile (Slick), and Kelly and Vodka Mom return soon.

Have a great weekend. I'll be studying.

2nd

Second post for the day are you impressed?
The reason I am posting again today is because something is really bothering me. Yesterday I did something totally without thinking, and now I am totally obsessing about it. I should tell you that I usually make a mountain out of a molehill, I worry if there's nothing to worry about, I wait for the other shoe to drop almost continually. Can you do all this and still be optimistic? Somehow I manage it.

Have you ever done something totally without thinking? Every time I do this I think when are you going to grow-up and start acting like an adult, and think before you react? I am sure my gut has about 500 ulcers in it just because of my stupidity. Yes, I get an upset nervous stomach, can't sleep, and am just miserable. I also realize that I am generally harder on myself than anyone else could ever be, that's a remnant from my childhood.

So my question(s) for you is how do you let go of stupid mistakes? how do you stop repeating them? how do you accept that you're not above making mistakes and everyone will sometimes feel this way too? Help me out here people:D
